Terms & Conditions

1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS (“Cashback Promotion”)

1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases of the products set out in Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within the United Kingdom (the “Territory”) fromone of our participating retailers in the Territory as set out at Schedule 2 (“Participating Retailers”) between 00 on 21 October 2026 and 23.59 on 27 January 2027 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”).

1.2. All other Canon products and retailers are excluded from this promotion.

1.3. Certain Promotional Products may be sold individually or as part of a pre-packaged kit or bundle. Where two or more Promotional Products are purchased as part of a single pre-packaged kit or bundle, only one (1) cashback claim may be made in respect of that kit or bundle. Where a cashback amount is specified in Schedule 1 for a kit or bundle, only that cashback amount may be claimed, and no additional cashback may be claimed in respect of any individual product included within that kit or bundle. For the avoidance of doubt, where Promotional Products are purchased separately as individual products, cashback may be claimed on each eligible Promotional Product, subject to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable claim limits.

1.4. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.

1.5. All participants must be aged 18 or over and be resident in the Territory (“Participant”).

1.6. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.7. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon products. Purchases of second-hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion.

1.8. A list of retailers that are not authorisedin the Territory is provided in Schedule 3. This list is not exhaustive. Products purchased from the retailers listed in Schedule 3, or from any other retailer that is not authorised by Canon in the Territory, will not be eligible for this promotion.

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. To enter the Cashback Promotion, the Participant must: (i) purchase one or more Promotional Products from a Participating Retailer in the Territory during the Promotional Period; AND
(ii) submit a valid claim online between 00 on21  October 2026 and 23.59 on 28 February 2027 (the “Claim Period”).

2.2. Claims must be submitted by correctly completinga claim form online (which will require the provision of a valid Participating Product serial number), at canon.co.uk/sale.

2.3. Participants are required  to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their receipt, or internet order confirmation as may be applicable, as proof of purchase. Following which, Participants will  receive an email confirming that their claim has been received.  If a Participant does not receive a confirmation email within twenty-four (24) hours of processing a claim, or do not have access to the internet, please contact our Claim Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.4. Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last.

2.5. Canon will not be liable for the failure of Participating Retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

2.6. Canon will not process any claims received after the Claim Period and will not process claims which are in its sole opinion incomplete.

2.7. If Canon raises a query in respect of a Claim and the Participant does not respond by 15^thMarch 2027, then the Claim will be deemed withdrawn.

2.8. Claims by businesses are not eligible.

2.9. Individual consumers may submit claims in respect of no more than five (5) Promotional Products and/or eligible kits or bundles purchased during the Promotional Period. Any claims submitted in excess of this limit will not be eligible.

2.10. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other cashback promotion EXCEPT where another Canon promotion during the Promotion Period expressly states in its terms and conditions that it may be redeemed in conjunction with this cashback promotion.

3. CASHBACK

3.1. Upon receipt and verification of a claim, Canon will arrange for a direct bank transfer to the Participant’s bank account provided in the claim, of the cashback amount set out in Schedule 1.  

3.2. No alternative arrangement will be entered into, and no cash or cheque will be provided.

3.3. Canon will endeavor to make the bank transfer within four (4) to six (6) weeks from validation of a claim.

3.4. Canon shall not be responsible for cashback payments that cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete bank account details supplied by the Participant.

3.5. Only one (1) bank transfer payment will be issued per valid claim.

3.6. If a Participant is VAT registered in the UK and receives a cashback, this may reduce the taxable value of the purchase, and as a result, the Participant may be required to adjust their input VAT accordingly.

3.7. If a Promotional Product has been purchased and a cashback has been claimed, the Participant forfeits their entitlement to the cashback should they choose to return the Promotional Product.

3.8. If the Participant returns a Promotional Product after a valid claim has been submitted and a bank transfer made by Canon:

a) Where the Promotional Product was purchased from the Canon Official Store then Canon will deduct the cashback amount paid from any refund due back to the Participant; or

b) Where the Promotional Product was purchased from any other Participating Retailer (not Canon Official Store) the Participant agrees to repay the cashback amount received from Canon within fourteen (14) days of return of the Promotional Product.   The Participant agrees that Canon (through its third party supplier Benamic Ltd (with an address at IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland) shall contact the Participant by email to arrange for such repayment and to confirm the payment methods available to the Participant.

3.9. Promotional Products returned (free of default) for refund are not valid for this Cashback Promotion and Participants found claiming for these Promotional Products shall not be eligible.

3.10. Canon reserves the right to pursue legal action against any Participants involved in fraudulent claims.

4. THE PROMOTER

4.1. The Promoter is Canon (UK) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 01264300, and with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF, England.

5. DISCLAIMERS

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

5.2. Canon shall not be responsible for technical failures of any kind, including network, server, hardware or software failures, which may restrict or delay the submission of a claim.

5.3. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.  

5.4. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these Terms and Conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon may reject any claim that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, misleading, contains false or misrepresented information, does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or where Canon reasonably suspects that the Promotion is being abused in any way. Subject to applicable law, Canon's decisions in relation to the Promotion are final.

5.5. Canon reserves the right to reject duplicate claims or claims relating to the same Promotional Product.

5.6. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5.7. Canon shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Promotion where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control.

5.8. Promotional Products purchased for resale are not eligible for this Promotion.

5.9. Claims must be submitted by the individual consumer who purchased the Promotional Product and who is the named recipient on the proof of purchase.

6. DATA

6.1. Canon (UK) Limited is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by (i) Canon (UK) Limited and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion, and, (ii) if applicable by Canon (UK) Limited and its affiliated companies for marketing purposes - in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

6.3. 7. LAW ANDJURISDICTION

7.1. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the Participant's country of residence apply. As a participating consumer, you may be entitled to rely on such mandatory laws and to bring proceedings in your local courts and in your own language. These Terms and Conditions do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable to you. A local consumer advice organisation may be able to advise you on those rights.
